Ways to work Together

Whether you’re looking for gentle support through a difficult season, a deeper healing journey, or a creative space to reconnect with yourself, these are the ways we can work together through Healing Art Journey.

Free Connection Session

Janaline, therapeutic art facilitator sitting at a table, preparing to paint with watercolor paints, with her hands on a blank sheet of paper in front of her. There is a container of water and a watercolor palette on the table.

A free 45–60 minute online session to gently explore what you’re carrying, what kind of support you may need, and whether this space feels right for you.

One of the hardest parts of living abroad is having to explain the "basics" of your life to people who don't quite get it.

On this call, you don't have to explain why moving is hard, why you feel "rootless," or why you miss home even when you love your new city. I already speak that language. We can skip the explanations and go straight to the heart of how you're feeling.

There is no pressure to commit afterward. This is simply a space to connect, ask questions, and be heard.

“Working with Janaline felt emotionally safe from the very first session. She listened deeply and remembered small details that made me feel truly seen.

Through her creative prompts, I was able to explore identity shifts and long-held anxiety in a way that felt grounding rather than overwhelming. I often left sessions feeling clearer, steadier, and more connected to myself.

  • Gillian, Vancouver

“Art therapy with Janaline gave me a safe space to process grief, anxiety, and complicated family emotions.

There was no pressure to perform or explain everything perfectly. I felt respected, supported, and allowed to move at my own pace.

What surprised me most was how much belonging I felt — even in the quiet moments.”

  • Jennifer M. Sontag, Italy

“I used to reach for ways to numb or distract when things felt overwhelming.

After working with Janaline, I now find myself picking up my pencils and doodling instead.

It feels so much better — like I’m soothing myself in a healthier, more grounding way.”
